A Space to Feel Your Grief
A Monthly Grief Circle
You’re grieving:
- the death of a loved one
- the untold horrors of the fascist regime we’re living under
- that your infertility treatments are just not working
- the end of a long friendship
- being ghosted by someone
- the onset of menopause
- the loss of creative self-expression
- the life you chose vs the one you longed for
- being estranged from a beloved friend or family member
- an aging body
- a partnership where there’s love but you’re both growing in different directions

"I have had the pleasure of working with Uma for over five years. During some of the most difficult times in my life, including the sudden loss of my beloved dogs and my father, she has helped me find meaning, healing, and joy again. Uma is wise, honest, compassionate, and empathetic. I always leave our conversations feeling lighter and more at peace. I hold deep respect and gratutude for her and I cannot recommend her highly enough." ~ Sahar
"Thank you for this gathering. I will return." ~ Judy

Grief comes in all shapes and sizes
What you read above are just a few examples of the many griefs—large and small—that we’re all dealing with. But the spaces to honor these losses are so few. Friends get tired of our sorry stories. The world rushes us to move on. We feel judged for grieving too long—or too hard.
Sometimes, we ourselves can be dismissive of the smaller losses and griefs in our lives.
How can you grieve the loss of your friend moving out of state when when your aunt is grieving your uncle’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis?
Is it even fair to grieve being judged for the weight you’re carrying when children are starving in Gaza?
We compare our losses and stuff them down as too small, too insignificant, too unimportant.
No matter the size of your loss, your grief is as real as anyone else’s. And it deserves to be honored.
This is why I’m hosting A Space to Feel Your Grief, a monthly Grief Circle.
No matter the length or depth or size of your grief, it is welcome here.

"Thank you for facilitating such a sacred space. My heart cracked open a little more today. I felt the shift, allowing more light in, which felt like a HUGE weight had been lifted after holding these rocks and boulders of protection for so long. You are making a HUGE difference." ~ Emma
