Am I Making the Right Decision?
How to use Human Design to make decisions with ease and peace
When it comes to making decisions--big and small--most of us struggle.
- What to wear to work?
- What to cook for dinner?
- What movie should I watch?
- Which vacation destination to pick?
- Which retirement home would suit Dad better?
We struggle with decision-making because nobody wants to make the wrong decision.
- We don’t want to make a decision we’ll regret later
- We don’t decide because we don’t feel ready to decide
- We’re afraid the wrong decision will complicate our lives even more
- We don’t want to experience the guilt and shame we’ll experience if we don’t get it right
Here’s the biggest problem. We’ve all been conditioned to turn to our minds for decision-making.
Well, duh Uma! Of course we’re meant to use our mind to think things through and arrive at the right decision. Right?
I thought so too.
But Human Design has taught me (and I’ve practised it enough times to know it’s true) that our mind is not the most reliable source when it comes to making decisions. When we use our mind, we often make decisions to make others happy, not disappoint them, and we’re attached to being seen as nice/kind/loving/compassionate/reliable/trustworthy etc.
We’re meant to trust body wisdom. Our body knows what’s correct for us. It’s our inner compass, the wise guide we have access to 24/7.
But we’re so used to living neck-up that the body feels like a stranger we barely know. How do we trust it? How do we even know what it’s saying?
I’m teaching a 2-part class to address all of these ideas.
What we will cover over the 2 sessions:
- Why we struggle to make decisions
- The reasons why we look outside instead of within
- Why the mind is not equipped to make decisions
- The attachment that keeps us procrastinating
- What Human Design says about trusting body-wisdom
- 7 ways in which our body speaks to use
- Tips on tuning into your body’s cues
- Caring for our body so that it can be a good messenger

Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t know anything about Human Design. Will these classes make sense to me?
When you register for this class, you can request to receive a link to the recording of an Introduction to Human Design class which I taught last month. It’ll give you the basics. Also, that class is not necessary for you to be able to attend these two
and benefit greatly.
What would be useful for you to do, is as follows:
- Go to this website: https://thrivingbydesign.com/resources/#get-your-chart
- Put in your birth information and click View your chart
- That will generate your Human Design chart
- Look on the right-hand column and make a note of what it says against Type and Inner Authority
- Make sure you come to class with this information.
I am very interested in signing up for these classes but may not be able to attend live. Is it still worth signing up?
When you sign up for these classes, you have lifetime access to the recordings. You can listen to them at your own convenience. The advantage of attending live is
the ability to ask questions and engage with me and the other participants. However, you can email me your questions ahead of time and I’ll respond to them on the call.
Can I take just one of the two classes?
That would not serve you. I’ve deliberately split the information into two classes so that participants are not overwhelmed. One class flows into the other. You’ll have the time and space to absorb the information and work with it this way.
Are refunds available?
No. All payments are final. No refund requests will be entertained.
