Grieve Without Feeling Crazy
1:1 mentoring (4 sessions)
60 minutes per session
- You just can’t seem to get it together. You can’t stop crying and you never know what could trigger you next: a song on the radio, your loved one’s favorite brand of cereal on the store shelf, the smell of their aftershave on some random person.
- You’re up at 3 A.M. and your mind is spiraling about all the What-Ifs. What if I’d insisted she go for an annual check-up? What if I hadn’t yelled at him before he drove away? What if I’d called 911 sooner? Was there something you missed? Something you could’ve done to prevent this from happening?
- You’re afraid you’re going to lose all your friends because of how sad you are. They’ve heard your story of loss a million times and are a little tired of seeing you so miserable.
- You’re lying on your couch and doom-scrolling just to distract yourself from having to feel the weight of your feelings. Or drinking too much wine to numb those awful feelings.
- You can’t believe how weak and pathetic you feel, and you hate it because you’re the one others came to when they needed help with a crisis.
- You can’t take time off work to grieve your loss; you feel exhausted most of the time and you’re struggling to hold it together.
Imagine if you could...
Move through your day without falling apart because you have a life to do
Stop the 3 A.M. mental spiraling because you just want to turn your brain off for a bit
Grieve your loss without feeling like you’re losing your mind
Give up the need to figure out why this awful thing happened because nothing can undo what happened
Focus enough to make a to-do list because you want some sense of control over your life
Feel some control enough because you don’t want to be judged too sensitive or overemotional
WHAT IF YOU COULD LIVE YOUR LIFE WITH SOME SENSE OF CONTROL TODAY…
AND NOT HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL YOU'RE ALL HEALED?

Safe to Feel Your Feelings
You don’t have to fear that if you allow yourself to cry, you’ll never stop crying. It’s possible to grieve and feel all your feelings—sadness, anger, shame, guilt, and regrets—in a safe space and in a way where you honor what you lost without feeling like you’re going crazy. Allowing grief vs resisting it is the way.
No-Judgment Space of Listening
Share your story of loss in a zero-judgment space and feel seen and heard. Your grief is a normal and natural response to loss. You just need a kind listening ear to vent, question, and feel all that’s coming up. Someone who has been there, understands, and empathizes. Being witnessed in your pain is a deeply healing experience.
Safely Release Difficult Emotions
As much as you’re trying to make sense of this loss using your mind, it’s your body that holds the grief—and the key to healing. We will “locate” where your body is holding grief and work with practices to help release it in ways that bring peace and calm to your being.
Breathe And Reset to Calm
As much as you may want to, you can’t try to figure this out using your mind. All it takes to reset your nervous system from anxious to calm is knowing how to use your breath intentionally. We will practice specific breath techniques to help you work with difficult feelings and restore feelings of wellness in your body.
